"The Lameshur Cottage guest house was exactly what we had hoped it would be. It’s away from the hustle of Cruz Bay, nestled in the mountain side near Coral Bay. There are so many cool hikes and beaches close by as well access to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world on the north shores within a short drive. With a kitchen, appliances and a quick trip to the local grocery store only minutes away we saved a ton on meals. When we felt like going out to eat, Skinny Legs quickly became our favorite local diner. The hosts Bill and Emily were extremely pleasant and accommodating. Guaranteed you won’t find a better bang for your buck in the VI. Would absolutely stay here again if I‘m ever fortunate enough to return to St. John."

"This was our second time staying at Anchorage Aweigh and it already feels like a home away from home. I could not imagine staying anywhere else while on island. The check in process was seamless, though, we have already been here before and knew how to navigate the switchbacks up to the house. I was able to do yoga on the deck overlooking coral bay and it was a dream. We enjoyed the pool and the nice cool bedrooms at night (power cooperated!). We love the 'noises' of Coral Bay (chickens, goats, frogs/crickets at night). Management was easy to communicate with and I would highly recommend anyone stay here!"

"Be still my heart! Arriving at Villa Celeste was exhilarating! Our stay at the Villa Vista for 7 days (6 nights) was heavenly. Our views of Coral Bay, Hurricane Hole, Hanson Bay, and the British Virgin Islands were phenomenally gorgeous and Lois gifted us with a keepsake to remember our view. The patio, our private pool, and the cozy villa are relaxing and beautiful. We loved the TLC we received from the house manager, Joy who checked in on us, stayed in touch, and we joined her for Thursday Open Mike Night at Miss Lucy's. I wish I could share more about her good character, generous nature, and backup singing for Lauren's onstage music ensemble! Keep Joy in mind should you decide to have her show you around the islands on her sailboat. Rent a Jeep or a sturdy 4 wheel drive vehicle to handle the winding, vertical roads and switchbacks. You'll enjoy scenic drives, many gorgeous beaches at both Coral and Cruz Bays and a lot of good restaurants in both areas, too! We had the good fortune to do a walk-thru of the spacious "Paradis" villa that sleeps four plus more in case you have a larger group. You may be able to book both villas which will give you access to the pool at our smaller Celeste villa if your parties are together.. No matter what, both have fabulous, spacious decks overlooking the scenic Coral Bay vistas. No doubt, we'll book again should we return to St. John!"

"This property is a GEM! It’s absolutely breathtaking and we had an amazing experience. The house was clean, close to some local restaurants, and overlooked Salt Pond Bay which happened to one of our favorite snorkeling places! This is the first time my husband and I visited the island with our friends and truly we cannot wait to come back, Vicki is amazing and super easy to get in contact with. This place will not disappoint! Thanks so much for the wonderful experience and an unforgettable trip!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at Bambooshay. Scott and Tammy were wonderful to work with and we plan on staying again whenever we come back to St. John. The villa was nice, clean, and had everything we would need. Our favorite part was the outside area. We spent most of our time while at the villa either hanging on the deck enjoying the beautiful views, swimming, or in the hot tub. My favorite thing about the villa was being able to swim under the stars! Truly felt like a paradise dream!"

The host is easy to communicate with and the house has maps, books, and information about the restaurants and services on the island. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed. The bed, linens, and towels are incredibly comfortable. This was our first visit to the island and our friends who visit each year are in awe of this home.and its amenities."
