"Even though the hotel was kind of outdated ( most hotels in Mackinaw City are) the room was clean and served all of our needs. We had a first floor room with a lake view and just steps out to the beach. The front desk staff and housekeeping staff were courteous and friendly. There was a free breakfast with plenty to offer but it was the same hot items everyday. They need to change it up a little."

"The Staff waa rop shelf...they even gave us a free upgrade after we shared that we were newlyweds. We decided to stay an additional night it was so comfortable and lovely. Though we had to check out of the room to another accommodation for price, it was just as comfortable and lovely with a balcony overlooking Lake Huron. It was an enjoyable and memorable stay. Thank you!"

"Coffee at the breakfast area was mediocre and served in the small cups like in the room so kind of a let down. The bed was not comfortable however the room and bathroom were very well kept and clean and those 2 things were important. Overall a good experience but we wouldn't give 5 stars unless perfection. "Been years since we stayed at Park Place...had an excellent 3 night stay, very accommodating for our late arrival and request to have our two rooms close together! Front desk staff excellent, dining room dinner and breakfast stay excellent, very nice manager and food very good! Excellent convenient parking & ramp for scooter entry. We hope to stay again next year! ONLY downside was the main elevator was not functioning and understand has not been fixed for quite a while, other than that, a great stay and love how close it is to downtown for my husbands scooter! THANK YOU PARK PLACE!!! Nearly forgot...love the GIFT SHOP!!!"
