“A very nice cabin with excellent amenities. We were impressed with the attention to detail of everything. We found the cabin to be in very good condition and very COMFORTABLE. From the linens to the kitchen utensils, it was well furnished making for a very enjoyable stay. I would have appreciated a grill, but it was not too inconvenient. “Lovely house. Beautiful view. Fabulous stay. We were 8 college dorm mates, graduated in 1976. Since we are all around 70 the bunk bed was not a good choice for us. Better suited to 4 adults & 4 children. Customer service was great and timely. Earlier and more information on the water would have been helpful. Some don't like the taste of the water. Overall we had a really wonderful stay.”

We enjoy the quiet to read and reconnect with family on the porch over a cup of coffee or a meal at the table. Our family enjoys playing card or board games or walks down to the river. “Buffalo Run Cabin is a VRBO that truly reflects the photos you see online. It’s impressive and comfy, with everything you need for a great escape. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch in the evening, watching the hummingbirds vie for position on the feeder that we’d filled. In the morning, 3 bucks roamed behind the cabin. This cabin is especially wonderful for people who love the outdoors. As a retired wildlife biologist, I certainly fit into that category. ”

The kitchen/dining/great room were all just right for our group to hang out before and after our ride on the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic RR. The house is very convenient to the train station, has good parking in front. It was super clean and well furnished. The Outlaw BBQ down the street was great.”
