“Though the rooms are small, they have been updated. Beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water, and it's an extremely convenient location to catch the train. Staff was very friendly. Didn't try the bar/restaurant, but they had plenty of business. I heard others comment on the creaking floors and noise level, but we use an atmosphere app for noise every night, so we didn't hear much. ”

The unit is very new and maintained with the guests in mind. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our overall stay. And on another note is the outstanding awesomeness of our hosts. “Had a wonderful stay! Was there to ride the train with my siblings and their families. The home fit our needs perfectly. The only problem we had was the oven did not work. There was a toaster oven, but it was too small for the items we brought. We made it work! Would definitely stay again. ”

“The caboose was lovely, cozy and comfortable. There is a street light on the adjacent corner to the caboose which reflects light into the downstairs bedroom. It’s very bright in the bedroom at night which did affect sleep. A blackout shade perhaps? Otherwise we loved our stay!”
