"A great find!! Lovely pub / hotel /restaurant in a beautiful spot. The room was gorgeous with a roll top bath and very comfy bed. The hotel was totally dog friendly- they are allowed everywhere and even get a sausage for breakfast! We ate in the restaurant twice and loved it both times - good portions and great specials. The bar is comfortable with a wide range of cask ales and a great selection of wine. Finally the staff! Everyone was very friendly, helpful and welcoming, they worked long shifts but never dropped their standards. Brilliant! There are a few pubs in the group but would have to do exceptionally well to match The Crown. Thank you. "

"This hotel was an excellent choice due to its prime location next to the Anglican Cathedral, with a Wetherspoons 110yds down the road, shops 10 mins walk and station 15. The rooms were of a very high standard and house-keeping take a pride in ensuring customer excellence in the way it responds to needs."

"Ideally positioned hotel within walking distance to the city centre but easily accessible via vehicle with parking. Comfortable clean and well appointed room with good decor and clean modern bathroom facilities . Tea/ coffee provided in room. Breakfast package was purchased and breakfast quality and service was superb . Would recommend and we will stay again. "

"We stayed for two nights in August B&B as part of a mini break to the East of England. All staff were welcoming and helpful. The room had a king size bed and the bathroom was large and adequately supplied. Breakfast was a good choice of pastries and hot buffet...dining at 8.15am meant we had no problem with queues or choice of food. The only thing that could have been better was the lack of air conditioning, as our room was very warm on both nights of our stay although a fan was provided upon request."
