The lodge was nice and surroundings beautiful but the owner who lives in Santiago was terrible. She failed to mention that it was necessary to rent a car because it's too far from San Pedro despite us asking how to get to the lodge easily. We booked a family room that was supposed to contain one double bed and two twin beds but we only got a small room with a very bad extra bed in a corner which does not reflect the price we paid. The staff on site was lovely but the woman I had to deal with via text was not. While we were there the staff quit mid stay and we were left with other people that did not care about our wellbeing. Also we were not told to throw the toilet paper away before arrival, we figured on our own but some harm was already done and I can't understand how this could've been left out of the information. We struggled a lot to get to our tours and lost a lot of money in taxi when we could've rented a car had we been told. Also the lady refused to let us in early in the room despite it being ready and us having almost 48h of travels coming all the way from Belgium. I've never seen anything like that.

Amazing staff and location! Went on a family trip with cousins and extended in laws and stayed here solo. It was absolutely beautiful and clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating with my little Spanish speaking abilities (thank you all for your patience!) Breakfast was convenient and available daily. Also coffee was available in my room (if you know you know this is a plus in Atacama!) If you’re considering this hotel, book!

The room was clean and just about the right size. The walls are very thin and so you can hear the guests in the next room. The staff was pleasant and courteous. Breakfast options were good.

Great concept, very convenient location, really interesting story around the hotel and its owner. Unfortunately only downside is the included breakfast which is not well attended. Would still stay again
