“Clean and safe , easy to find the motel. not far away from ferry”

“Everything was good; it’s just the extreme amount of mosquitoes in and around our rooms were a turn off. Had severe rashes on my toddlers body and face and our arms, the property needs to do something about the mosquitoes infestation.”

“Right on the Staits of Macinac. Beautiful view of Mighty Mac. Clean, heated outdoor pool. Rooms are smaller due to age of motel but had what we needed. No frills. Shuttle service to ferry. Helpful, friendly staff.”

“We loved this little hotel. It looks as good as advertised. The room had been thoroughly cleaned. the grounds were beautiful and the pool looked like something from a movie. All we had to do was walk across the street to see & take photos of Lake Huron and the Mackinac bridge. Downtown Mackinaw City and the Mackinac Island Ferry are easily walkable.”

“Small rooms but clean and functional. The rooms are older so air conditioner does not have a thermostat. Unit is either on or off. Had to guess where to move the dial for the temperature you wanted. Could use a newer (higher) toilet in bathroom. Grounds around the hotel were beautiful. Flowers were awesome.”

“At arrival the front desk asked if we would like to upgrade to King Room, we did for additional fees, which is alright. But the room is terrible. When we get in it has weird smell, mouldy smell. The AC is so loud like a tractor running. If you have food or drinks put into the mini fridge, please double check the plug and make sure it turned on, it was set to OFF, even though we plugged in but did not know have to turn it on so all food and drinks all “warmed up” in that fridge. Not all room has……

“Very clean, nice staff, parking right outside your door. A/C worked fine. Close to downtown.”

“Stayed for two nights. Went on a trip to Mackinac Island one day and the did some things in the Mackinac town the next day. Really just slept in the room took a shower in the morning and that was it for the room. Our room fridge did not work and the electrical outlets were worn out. The switch near the door did not seem to control anything. The air conditioning worked well. The room and the bathroom were both clean and neat. They had a snacks vending machine, but not one for sodas. Had to go to……

“The chalet was filthy. The carpets needed cleaning and vacuumed. We had no toilet paper. There was nasty curly hair in the shower and the bathroom was just a filthy mess. The outdoor swimming pool looked like it needed some chemicals, but the inside watermark and pool was nice. The location was great and close to everything we needed.”

“Just a beautiful location, super kind & attentive staff, close to adorable shops and local restaurants. Comfortable beds! Quiet rooms- hallway noise but each side and above not a sound. Fantastic free breakfast. We just love this place - it was our second time there and will be back again for sure! Did have an issue with our fridge but they corrected that quickly. Only complaint was the shower ... The water temp didn't allow for anything but hot and almost too warm - notified them at checkout so……
