Linens were not cleaned, beds were not made, bathroom and floors were not clean, landscaping trash in the yard and the kitchen countertops were dirty. The space had an unusual odor that was quite off-putting. We were told that the owner had stayed and self-cleaned. Our host had their cleaning service dispatched immediately and cleaned the space after we arrived. If you plan to stay, make sure the space has been cleaned and serviced……

“Myself, my husband and our 3 young boys stayed at the Seney Cabin for a family trip. We loved everything about the cabin! Our favorite features were the fireplace and hot tub. We did a lot of adventuring and fishing - including Miners Falls, Tahquamenon Falls and swimming in Lake Superior. The cabin is centrally located. Most of our meals were cooked in the fully stocked kitchen. We did go to Andy's in Seney for dinner one night and the food was amazing. We didn't want our trip to end and plan……

“The fridge froze everything solid. There was no broom to sweep the dirt out of the cabin. But the location was beautiful. The cabin was beautiful and it was extremely relaxing. We didnt have no wood for the burn pit which the add on line saud it was provided. I would stsy again but i would definitely ask for a broom and then make sure the fridge worked properly. ”

“This was an amazing location - very secluded on a clean sand beach just 10 minutes from town. The owners have lovingly developed a quiet bench next to a small waterfall on the creek running through their property along with a great fire pit and seating on the beach. So many thoughtful details outside and inside - absolutely everything you would need plus games, books, painting supplies. We spent hours reading in the small room facing the lake or on the beach. Easy drive to Pictured Rocks or……
