“Everything was great! Such a beautiful cabin and setting. Everything we needed was supplied, even a timely snowplow for the driveway. We got to enjoy the beautiful snowfall which was between 20"-30"! We were able to sled behind the cabin and walk along the river. Watching the snowfall from the hot tub is a special treat!”

“Beach front cabin could not be beat for location and the cabin was clean and a great home base for all things Mackinaw city within walking distance, including the ferry to Mackinac Island. Beach is rocky in places, so be sure to bring some good water shoes! Access to the amenities of the nearby hotels was also a nice bonus, although some of the hotel facilities are a bit dated and have some deferred maintenance. “Great cabin on lovely small lake. Cabin is well stocked and comfy. Deck area gives beautiful lake views. Host was very accommodating. The trail in from the main road was slightly challenging but the destination is more than worth it. I would definitely stay again. Can't beat relaxing around a campfire, stargazing and listening to the whipporwills!”

“This will be our "Go To" place to stay in Mackinaw. By far the best place to stay if you like privacy, convenience and the perfect location. We slept 6 with no issues. Would be amazing for a couple. We will be back. ”

“Owner was very helpful when we did not have any hot water. He had it taken care of very quickly. The main complaint we had would be how loud the traffic was at night so make sure to bring something to run at night to block the noise out.”
