Thai Views | Choui Fong Tea Plantation: Credit has to be given where credit is due. Regardless if we are eating at some fancy restaurant in some high rise or enjoying the freshness of a farm to table dining experience. They are groups of people that often get under appreciated. Individuals like these work day in and day out doing jobs that most of us would rather not do. We see the end product of what we eat and certainly appreciate the dining experience but we don’t often see where it comes from. Let’s always be mindful of the blood, sweat and tears it takes to keep this world fed.

敗興而回，跌斷腳

酒店偏僻，房間太多昆蟲，別墅游泳池太細，池水不潔，周圍多蚊。餐廳多蒼蠅，蜜蜂，早餐自助餐種類少，食物有蒼蠅停留，酒店通往房間有山路，石階，天雨路滑，路燈照明不足，非常容易生意外，而酒店價錢物非所值。

Great homestay in the hills peace and tranquility in nature

We stayed for 3 nights and visited a few attractions from this as a base. The house was everything it said it would be and Simon was attentive and helpful at every stage. He even rented us his own car !

The Mekong is a trans-boundary river in Southeast Asia. It is the world's 12th-longest river and the 7th-longest in Asia. Its estimated length is 4,350 km (2,703 mi), and it drains an area of 795,000 km2 (307,000 sq mi), discharging 475 km3 (114 cu mi) of water annually.
From the Tibetan Plateau the river runs through China's Yunnan Province, Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. In 1995, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam established the Mekong River Commission to assist in the management and coordinated use of the Mekong's resources. In 1996 China and Myanmar became "dialogue partners" of the MRC and the six countries now work together within a cooperative framework.
The extreme seasonal variations in flow and the presence of rapids and waterfalls in the Mekong make navigation difficult. Even so, the river is a major trade route between western China.
