“The location was excellent, walking distance from town centre shops, pubs & restaurants. Hotel also had a car park and nice bar with a free pool table. Owner was very helpful with check in and explaining where everything was. It is not trying to be a luxurious hotel, but for a cheap room for the night to break up a long drive it was perfect for my needs. The only real negative I had is that the bed wasn't the comfiest but I still slept fine.”

“My wife and I stayed here for one night 20-8-26, the place is really easy to find, located in a village out in the countryside a few miles from Carlisle.
