“It's one of the biggest family owned winery in Tasmania, we are just like living in a small village, i feed the chicken every morning, live is so relaxing... However, from the.entrance to the cottage, it takes you a 5 min drive in a rough road, so if you don't have a car, please don't come here or you needa walk for at least 30 min. FYI, Frogmore vineyard is just next door!!”

“We read the reviews and were intrigued. We stayed in winter, and it is cold in Bothwell. It would have been much more inviting if the hosts had the heater running prior to our arrival, but once the property warmed up after a few minutes the shock of how cold it was faded away. We stayed in the 1837 cottage. The accommodation is rustic, eclectically furnished and decorated, and gives an appreciation of life in times gone by. If you are after elegant, refined and well finished accommodation……

“We told the host we would arrive after 6pm in Nov and she was there greeting us as soon as we arrived. We liked the kitchen which got all the cooking wares but not sure if there is cooking oil or seasonings. The electric stove was slow to turn on. The host has provided the eggs, milk, tea bags, coffee and juice as well as bread in two sandwich boxes so we could prepare our breakfast. Everywhere in the house, kitchen and bathroom are clean. Laundry is free with washing powder. We……

“Great location- can walk into town and restaurants etc. Amazing value for money. Have to provide more info than other locations to book in, which was hard when have limited phone reception. ”

“A beautiful converted stable in gorgeous Battery Point. Close to everything, walking distance to the ferries etc. Highly recommended.”

“Sophia's was perfectly located for walking to the key sites in the city, with an amazing cafe round the corner. For us two it was spacious and extremely comfortable. The washing machine was brilliant too. We had a great 4 days here.”
