Beautiful area, large villas and very good dining options food is excellent in some of the restaurants. Wonderful staff very friendly and helpful. Only negative especially at this divi is theres really nothing going on at all in the evening. And very little to nothing at the pool during the day. You would figure this being the side with the villas it would be more family oriented but besides bingo at the pool there was nothing.Tamarijn and divi divi have more things happening at night and are where the better restaurants are located but traveling between the hotels is pretty easy.

Riu Palace provided an enjoyable, relaxing vacation! The food was good (there were only a few items I didn't care for, so I didn't get it again and I got everything else that I really liked)! The Italian (lasagna) and Fusion (fish of the day and pumpkin soup) places were both very good. The buffet had a sushi bar and ceviche bar on different nights - YUMMY!! We had no problems during our stay, our room was clean and in good condition. The staff and entertainment crew were happy and did a good job!

A nice place for a picnic. There are often snorkeling or kayaking groups. We found the snorkeling to be just ok.

Nice beach but we went for the snorkeling which was disappointing. We moved to the northernmost beach by the light house and then had one of our best snorkeling experiences ever.
