“We should have stayed 2 days to relax more. The place is nice, and if stayed longer we would bring or buy some of our food to cook and hang out there. The song birds were on cue as they were singing away Saturday morning.Loved it!”

“We felt very blessed to find a home for about the same cost as two rooms at a hotel at short notice as we needed to attend a funeral. The cottage is absolutely lovely, and we felt so welcome. Shelly and her sister have made it so cozy. We had a basket full of goodies, condiments, ice packs, coffee, tea, sugar, available for use. They even provided bags to clean up after the dog. (I have difficulty with my hands, and these bags were so easy to open too.) The kitchen was more fully equipped than……

“Adequate home. Small but ok for my needs. Did not like that bathroom is on first floor and bedroom upstairs. Air conditioning was difficult to operate. I would use it again fir a single person ”

“Property was very clean and very quiet. Only a few problems….the toilet seat was broken, they didn’t provide enough toilet paper and paper towels (luckily we had our own) and they didn’t provide dish towels to dry dishes. Also be warned that there is no AC, but they do provide a fan. Overall though, good unique experience. ”

“The house was great for our family. It had two master bedrooms with attached bathrooms. Plus two other bedrooms. Beautiful deck. The fenced in yard allowed play location for the kids. I saw on other comments mention of dust webs...true if you look for them... but welcome to the woods. Overall it has a clean feeling. Advice, bring hand towels... there arent any in the 4 bathrooms in the house. If we go back to Raystown...wed reserve this house again!”
