"This hotel served its purpose. While it wasn’t especially memorable, we were able to sleep comfortably and felt safe during our stay. The property could use some aesthetic updates, including fresh paint and repairs to the many scratches visible on the walls in the hallways and room. I booked a queen metro room, but the bed was actually a full size, which was disappointing. That said, the price was fair, and the location was excellent—just across the street from MSG, which was amazing. It’s also a short walk to the Empire State Building, and although Times Square is about a 30-minute walk, it didn’t feel too far. TicToc restaurant was very nice, the food was good, and the servers were friendly and welcoming. One major downside was the bathroom downstairs by the steakhouse. It was dirty and poorly maintained. Considering its location near a nice steakhouse, you would expect it to be much nicer, but instead it was in disappointing condition. Overall, I'd stay there again based on this experience."

"We’ve been staying at the Edison since 2010. It has always been a good hotel with us: warm greetings upon arrival, excellent service, and generously accommodating when we need to extend our stay or need additional help. They have made amazing improvements to the property over the years and it shows. The adjoining restaurants are very good. We especially enjoyed our breakfast at Friedman’s using our meal vouchers: the food was delicious and served well. Our king room was clean and restful. All around, another wonderful stay at the Edison and we look forward to coming back soon."

"The hotel is nice upon arrival. The rooms are very dated and old and can use some refreshing. What was a surprise to me was the beds, they were 'full' not 'queen' which may have been in the description when I reserved them, but I have not stayed at a hotel with full before. It made it difficult to share the bed. The kids liked using the pool but the floor in that room needed to be cleaned, hair everywhere. There is a kiosk for breakfast items if you didn't want to pay for $35 buffet. I appreciated the bar served food until 11pm since our flight arrived very late and we were hungry. Parking is $27 and people park long term for flights, It was hard to find a parking space and a tight squeeze into the parking space. Didn't realize that it was next to Northern State Prison, could see entrance from my hotel room which was unsettling."
