"Everything from prior communication and check in was perfect. The owners thought of everything for the home that a guest may want. I am told that everyone's beds very comfortable. The spaces in the home are excellent. The actual kitchen work space is small but manageable. There is a gate to the basement if you bring small kids. We had plenty of towels and supplies which was greatly appreciated. The backyard to the river and fire pit is long and you either have to take stairs or the side of the house it is a little difficult if you have a disability. (I was 2 weeks out from a pelvic fracture.) My family enjoyed kayaking and other outdoor activities. The deck is nice in the morning and you will also have gorgeous sunsets in the evening by the river. "

"I had the continental breakfast in the morning. The breakfast was pretty good I must say, being it was a continental breakfast, I wasn’t expecting anything crazy, but the breakfast was tasty! The beds were perfect! The blanket wasn’t too light, and wasn’t too heavy. Was perfect!"

"This property has everything you need for a great stay. The home is beautifully updated and tastefully decorated.Sometimes nature has other ideas about how water areas should look. I would describe the inlet as beautifully mucky and weedy, but that didn't deter us. We kayaked through it to the clear river.The outdoor space is exceptional, and we saw cranes and deer daily/nightly. Also, bugs were not a problem at all when outdoors. I'm not sure what the thought process was behind the "fence" blocking the view of the water/woods from the patio area. I'd remove it as it obstructed our views from the patio and kitchen. One of the best things about this home is watching the wildlife. I rated a 4 for cleanliness because one of the bathrooms had hair all over floor and shower when we arrived, so it may have been missed during the cleaning process. Also, there was an oven mitt and some dirt/dust between counter and fridge which appear to have been there for a while. Other than that, the house was very clean and well maintained. We had 4 adults on this trip and had originally planned to use the top bunk for sleeping; however, it was a bit wobbly, so we decided against it. IMO, the top bunk is best suited for children. Overall, this home was beautiful and provided everything we needed for a great trip. Location was perfect. "
