"Lovely house. If you have walking issues we found to many steps to the house. Beautiful views .Downstairs toilet would have been good. Outside sitting area very nice. Maybe needs hand rail on the steps. We all had a lovely time there."

"Good location for walking into Matlock Bath, 20 minute easy flat walk. Hotel has an on site Indian restaurant and bar but we weren’t aware so didn’t eat there as we had booked somewhere in town. Staff very friendly and helpful. Parking was good on hotel premises. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment. It’s not luxury but a good hotel in a good location with parking which is difficult to find in the area."

"We have a lovely stay. Perfect location for visiting Bakewell.and Matlock. Accommodation was great. Clean and bed was very comfy. Ladies in the tearooms downstairs were lovely and friendly. Breakfast was fabulous. Would definitely recommend a stay here."

"Fantastic stay – highly recommend!We had a wonderful stay at this property. Right from the beginning, the host’s instructions were spot on and really helpful, making check-in and our overall stay completely seamless.The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxed visit. A highlight for us was definitely the arcade machine—it was a huge hit and provided so much fun!We would definitely love to stay again and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great getaway. Thank you for hosting us!"
