Breakfast was excellent, room hot and noisy which was due to it being an exceptionally hot weekend, if we had had the windows closed it would have been a lot less noisy.

Pleasant accommodation, great staff.

We enjoyed our 1 night stay at this hotel. The staff were particularly welcoming and attentive, especially the owner. We were upgraded to a family room with a larger bathroom and more bedroom space. We ate there that night. The meal was good, home-made, filling food and very reasonably priced. Parking was tricky, but we managed to move the car after a while.

The rooms arereally spacious which was really nice with tea and coffee making facilities and some biscuits plus some hand made chocolates which added that extra touch. Breakfast in the morning was fabulous with plenty of choice. All of the staff were really friendly and welcoming. It's in a great location witj lots of great walks near by. Would definitely come and stay again.

Warm Welcome

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. A great base to explore the surrounding area and walks. Twin Room very comfortable with lovely bathroom. Great breakfast with lots of choice, very generous. Staff and Host very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. There were lots of little extras in our room and at breakfast which were most welcome. A lovely 2 night stay.

The Greyhound

Staff good, in location we wanted, slick of paint would not go amiss, comfortable in a nice old building. But £20 for the dog is a bit steep!

The breakfast was brilliant with lots of choice and very well cooked. We had one evening meal which was also enjoyable. The bar and dining area was comfy and attractive, the bedrooms/bathrooms a little dated but very clean. Unfortunately we had a room at the front and was woken by traffic early both mornings. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again but ask for a room at the back.
