"Spend money on hotel. Very Dated. Looks like something in the 80"s"

"We chose to stay here for a last minute long weekend getaway and it was perfect. The kitchen is well equipped and tons of space in the dining room. Beds were super comfortable. We enjoyed the company of the cows and chickens off the back porch. The sunsets here are awesome. The property also has access to a boat ramp and dock on site, great for a bay fishing boat. The hosts were great, southern hospitality at its finest and we can’t wait to return. "

"Room “looked clean”, but once you’ve walked in you’re hit with a wet carpet smell that doesn’t go away. Bed and sheets didn’t have a bad smell. Shower had visible brown water stains almost like the water was not good to use. Did not use shower. Slept a couple hrs and left."

"Our family had an amazing stay. The location was wonderful, and both the neighbors and fellow travelers nearby were very friendly. There are two additional houses behind the main entrance, which is helpful to know when arriving.We were in contact with both the owner and the property management company, Coastal Shore Vacations. Both were excellent, very responsive, and easy to work with.A few helpful notes for future guests. Not all windows have curtains or shades. This was not an issue for us, but it may be worth noting, especially in the upstairs master bathroom if you prefer more privacy. The upstairs blue couch was a bit uncomfortable since you could feel the springs, but we worked around it.The power went out briefly one morning, and since the house uses an electric pump, the water was also out during that time.We loved kayaking and canoeing and even caught a catfish off the dock. The stars were beautiful, and we were lucky enough to see a NASA rocket launch from the back deck, which was incredible.The kids loved the ping pong table and exploring outside. We would definitely consider coming back and highly recommend this property for a relaxing getaway."

"I thoroughly enjoyed my two-nights stay at Charlotte Hotel. The property is charming and in excellent condition. The breakfast I ate in the on-site restaurant was delicious. The location is conveniently located within walking of restaurants, cafe, pub and a community theater. I would definitely stay here again."

"Nice quiet location. Directions to the house were good. Check in was easy. House was comfortable for 8 people.The host and VRBO support team were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, there was a fish and chicken legs in the freezer that were old and should have been removed before we arrived."

"Our family absolutely loved staying here! It was the best mini vacation. The host and her husband were fantastic people and the apartment was superb. The town was closed down for the season, which was perfectly fine with us. The General Store on the corner was the second best part of our stay. It had the best coffee & fresh picked flowers. We took a brisk walk in the morning around the marina, and surrounding neighborhood. Everyone was warm and welcoming, we will be coming back during the summer when the season opens backs up. "
