“Definitely needs refurbishing. Old fashioned keys, no room safe, window security very poor and an en-suite had basin that moved as you touched it. Balcony felt dirty and had another room’s outside light shining all night into my room. Some of the electric lights in my room did not work. The swimming pool was good with an amazing view (but seating area around it had little shade) even if noisey from traffic. Pool bar open until 7pm, but bar downstairs then not open. I thought I had bought……

“Overall a nice stay. The property itself is very dated and needs a renovation/upgrade. But the service at breakfast, and the views from the upgraded rooms are great. Standard rooms are not great. Reception staff average. Gym needs more weights/equipment (but decent room). Some small improvements (aside from a total refresh/renovation) would make a huge difference.”

“Great location in Taormina. Away from the heavily touristy area, but a close walk away. Beautiful old hotel with incredible breakfasts and a staff that can't be beat. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. It's an old hotel so the room and shower were small.”

“La camera era bella ma la colazione non era fresca. ho dovuto fare 50km per cenare perchè c'era il giorno di chiusura del ristorante. La piscina andrebbe decisamente sistemata per via del calcare. Mancavano gli asciugamani per la piscina. Il rapporto qualità prezzo non è soddisfacente”

“You can totally relax for holiday there. A nice garden and can walk to the beach. A very special experience for seeing the train to run under the house. The ladies are very nice to take care of all of us and well introduction for sight seeing. My friend stay in hotel all day, and felt so peace while he just walk around the garden. ”
