Paid almost $1000 per night for a supposed 4* per night hotel in fly fishing cabin. Decor is nice, but room did not seem clean. Toilet in lower level still has pee on it, no soap in second bathroom and bathrooms and room in general did not seem clean. Very loud between neighbors and PA announcements at night. Vending machines either sold out or did not work; bar on 3rd floor did not have supplies and needed liquor cage to be cut. Although front desk did provide a couple extra free waters.

Pros: We had a terrace double queen room. The bed was comfortable. Room was quiet. Terrace view of the Mississippi River was beautiful. The jetted tub and shower were perfect. The free elevator trip to the observation deck was fun. We went to eat wahlburger inside and the food was amazing. The store itself was an experience. Cons: we added on the breakfast for $24.99 per person and it was not good. I waited 30 mins for bacon and eggs to be refilled and it never came and we had to leave. We went to eat at 9am. The coffee tasted burnt and potatoes were not cooked all the way. It was an average hotel breakfast which is overpriced and the buffet dishes were not replenished. I was still hungry because I only got the last piece of ham and the one last biscuit with some gravy. Also the bathroom sink was clogged, both sinks were clogged. Overall I would stay here again it was wonderful, fun, we did some shopping in the store, and the observation deck was an experience, but I would not buy the breakfast buffet again. The staff were wonderful during check in. The staff for breakfast were kind of rude but I assume they were stressed because multiple guest were asking when the food was coming out so I didn’t think anything of it.

The room was great, but everything inside the pyramid shuts down at 9 PM, so plan on going downtown unless you just want to camp at the hotel room.
