Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas Tours

This was a last minute decision as the hotel we booked and had a confirmation number somehow lost our reservation and could not secure us a room. I’m so skeptical of the Oyo chains but beggars can’t be choosers and vacancies were scarce. So first and foremost the amount of my stay was $225 cheaper than my original hotel (seriously nothing special about the Super 8) so I was like that’s a plus. The Indian gentleman at the front desk isn’t the friendliest man I’ve ever met but just give me my key and I’ll move on. The rooms were surprisingly decent, compared to the original hotel (Super 8) they were no better no worse so that was another plus. It was decently clean and nothing I couldn’t clean myself and be ok with. Some hair left over in the shower but not a deal breaker. The beds were clean and no bugs. Well not real bugs anyways. Someone left some huge plastic roaches on the TV which we found to be funny as hell when realized they were not real. So no they don’t have breakfast but free hotel breakfasts aren’t anything to write home about anyways so it’s not a big deal to us. They do have decent rooms, clean bug free beds and hot water. Checked all my boxes and the price was just the cherry on top. We just might make this place our yearly stay. Super 8 you just lost a customer.

The room we had was generous in size. Unfortunately, the A/C vent was right above the bed so we got blasted with cold air all night. There were also many lights not working in our room. Breakfast was terrible. Some sort of egg casserole that was dry and chewy along with some pancakes that looked and tasted like what you would expect if your kids made you a surprise breakfast without supervision. We only ate there in the first day. The host was very nice.

This property is very close to Beaver Lake and has a great view. It had a nice pool and parking right outside your door. It's an older location that's been totally remodeled and even boasts remote controlled AC. Very close to restaurants and many different Marina's and shops. My hats off to whoever picked out the updated room fixtures and décor.
