Called the "Little White House" due to the fact that President Franklin D. Roosevelt spent quite a bit of time here. The nearby Warm Springs brought some relief to the pain he endured due to polio. It was in this house that he died on April 12, 1945, shortly after having been elected President of the United States for his fourth term.

We asked if he had ample space to turnaround and park a truck and boat trailer. He said yes there was ample space. However, that was not accurate. "The property had a lot of roaches. It was not really the cleanest place. The pictures are of the linens that were on one of the beds. There is a 4 inch drop from the Living Room into the two bedrooms and bathroom. There is no sign and unmarked. My mom fell and broke her ankle. "
