“My experience and stay were great had a nice clean room with a beautiful view but when I was checking in the person at the front desk didn’t give me my ID back at check in and I didn’t realize it until I was back home in another state. Wouldn’t stop me from staying again….chances are I’ll be there the next time I decide to visit the area because it’s such a beautiful place.”

“Lovely old hotel, rooms too small for family of 4. Plumbing was not great, we struggled turning the shower off and getting hot water. Excellent location. And easy to park.”

“Let me start by saying I rented this cabin to relax, sleep in and enjoy time away from busy city life with my family. Unfortunately that did not happen and I came back more tired then rested. As much as I love animals, I do not appreciate a 5 AM wake up call from the neighbors barking dogs. Also there was nothing in the description about a skylight in the master bedroom that would blast very bright, annoying light right in your face the moment sun came up and until it went down. Talking about……

“Beautiful location, and the host was wonderful.Unfortunately, the bedroom was very hot. The window AC unit was in the other room, and though fans helped move the air, they were not sufficient and the fans and AC were extremely noisy. We were hoping for a quiet, relaxing stay and this venue did not meet our expectations. The bed and pillows were also very hard, which didn't work well for us.If you like a very firm bed, bring your own pillows, and come when the weather is cooler, you may enjoy……

“We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, spacious cabin! The peaceful lake setting made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. We especially loved the screened-in porch and the large deck, which gave us plenty of space to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and take in the peaceful atmosphere. The ducks on the lake were an added bonus and made the stay even more enjoyable. Everything about the cabin made us feel comfortable and right at home. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway surrounded……
