“Very peaceful and quiet property well away from the bustle of modern life. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay. Clean and well equipped kitchen. Gardens on the property were lovely. Only a very short walk down a public footpath to a local pub that did good food and had outdoor seating in the garden with lovely views. Host Mandi was helpful and welcoming. Close to market town of Bridport and seaside at Recommend to anyone needed to get away from it all. ”

“Perfect for our visit. In the area for a wedding and it really filled the bill for my wife, myself, our son and daughter and our young granddaughter. Co-op store across the street. Coffee and bakery 50 feet away. Pub with meal service 500 feet up the lane. Comfortable, large, well equipped, and charming. Will stay again at the next opportunity. Great communication with the owner and easy access to the property. ”

“Purcombe Farmhouse is a gem. It provides comfortable and very well equipped accommodation, suitable for all ages - our family group were aged 66 down to 1yr and we all had a wonderful week there. Lovely gardens to explore and the hot tub was a definite plus later at night! This property is so peaceful and with stunning views, yet only a 10 minute drive from Bridport”

“What a wonderful home to stay in. This is just the most cozy, warm, cottage imaginable. It lacks for nothing. The house is on a lovely farm with great walking areas. Pete and Bev are superb hosts, and were happy to offer whatever we might need, while not being at all intrusive. We visit family in Dorset often, and shall definitely hope to stay in this delightful spot again. We cannot think of anything negative to mention!”

“Unique experience to stay in a converted 20th century chapel. Very clever design that keeps in with the character of the chapel( original stained glass windows) whilst ensuring all the homely comforts such as power shower , coffee machine, excellent wifi and mod cons all provided. The owner has taken pride in making sure the furnishings are of a fine quality. Just right for a restful romantic week away from it all but set in a historic and rural part of Somerset.
