Stayed a week in a comfortable, spacious king suite. Huge opening windows were nearly soundproof and allowed a great view of the bustling street (regular rooms appeared to lack outward windows and thus sunlight). Lights were needlessly quirky though. The rooftop pool area was a great escape. The location was perfect for us: an easy, interesting walk to everything in the Centro, including a great variety of restaurants, and an easy Uber ride beyond. Service was always friendly throughout, though we had a couple of avoidable billing issues (a missing room charge; almost checking out another room). A great option for a wonderful city.

Property is great, staff even greater. Nice location. Would have liked a nice lobby to sit around in the evenings. Breakfast spread was delicious. Dinner at Balta was superb. Concierge service was excellent. Overall, a wonderful stay at the Sofitel, one of our best hotel experiences.
