Avoid at all costs. This is not a standard Marriott property and the service is absolutely terrible. Took forever to check in and we arrived close to midnight. Given room with one bed when I paid for two beds. Room was next to elevators so couldn’t sleep AT ALL. CONSTRUCTION of something happening above my room with banging and noises. No hot water on two occasions. Completely horrible outside of the Gold Coast restaurant and the nice staff there and our waiter Frank was amazing. Would go there just to eat at this friendly restaurant. Outside of that completely horrible experience and will never ever stay there again. Check out was also extremely long at 930 am and wasn’t even asked how stay was because they know it was terrible. AVOIDDDDDDDD.

Unless you want to pay $42 on top of your room fee just for parking, go somewhere else. The staff was rude and hard to understand. The light in the bathroom kept shutting off on us and the patio door didn't close right, turning off the AC.

I liked the view from room. What i didn’t like was: person took things on cart and left against wall and left. Person behind desk did not greet at all. He asked if had reservation. I had to say to him: hello how are you and welcome to the Marriott. How can I help you? He took deep breath. And asked for my ID. I said to him had reservation and text said room is ready. He asked for my id. He gave key for room. No direction for elevator and how to get to room. So I had to go back and ask him.

Everything was overall excellent. Our room had both a pool and ocean view with a balcony. I highly recommend a room with a view and balcony. The only two downsides to our stay was that it would have been nice for the outdoor bar by the pool to have been open. It said “coming soon”. It was really windy on the 5th floor (rooftop where the pool and outdoor greenery space was located) it was a major wind tunnel between the two large buildings of the Marriott and the other hotel building right across from it.
