“Escaped into another world on each floor's hallway-the memorabilia and artwork spoke of an honest, New England history. The atmosphere was perfect for a genuine, original immersion into New England's past and LOVED going up and down the 150yr old elevator! Meals delicious w/excellent service. Only one issue we had: the AC in the room was difficult to adjust and were quite chilled even w/turning the thermostat up to 80 deg!!!!!!!!! as suggested by the front desk. Shall make this a yearly visit!”

“I thought the property was great for families because it did have the option of a basketball court, a tennis court and a volleyball court. There was also an indoor pool and an outdoor pool. My room was not comfortable at all. I took a two bedroom suite and the mattresses were terrible. It was very difficult to sleep comfortably. The tennis court was always in use. I would suggest they build more tennis courts and outdoor play space. The indoor pools and hot tubs were great. I would only suggest……

“No breakfast was provided. We waited from 7 to to 7:15, knocked on the office door, and called the phone number provided. No one answered and no one responded. The room was moldy, curtains were not fully closed, and tv did not have local channels. We also had multiple attempts to connect with Wi-Fi. We left the lodge at 7:30 am and had breadfast in downtown Lee. ”

“If you like cobweb-covered light fixtures, dirt-encrusted carpet, musty stench and ancient unsleepable beds, then this is the motel for you. We booked in here expecting a basic stay, but this was so much less than that. Thick cobwebs looked like Hollywood 'haunted mansion' prop on bathroom lights. Drawer pulls literally hanging off the bureau drawers, room phone made of cheap plastic like a child's toy that didn't work, stained curtains, peeling wallpaper, all grubby/sticky to the thouch. ……
