“I love the mountain view, and the location. We enjoyed hiking the Bells Majestic view, toured Penn's Cave and enjoyed local restaurants. “We stayed in a cabin so my comments only apply to our experience there., The property is very pretty, there is a pond or two, a shuffleboard course, a mini golf course and a playground or two. There was a pool but it was closed when we were there (late Sept). The two small issues that I would bring up are 1) the showers seem to be either completely hot or cold but nothing in between and 2) mattresses in the cabins are a bit stiff. Not a problem for us but it may be for others. ”

The cabin is listed as including a toilet and a shower in the unit, however the toilet is a located in a common building about 300 yards away from the cabin. We were never able to determine the location of the showers. Apparently there are showers near the pool which is driving distance from the cabin. “The cabin was clean but had an odor. The public bathroom behind cabin was not clean. The showers at the shower facility were difficult to use as you had to constantly press a button to have running water. It went from cold to burning in 5 minutes. Not a pleasant experience.”

“The only real issues with the cabin we had was one the shower would not drain the first time we used it. The maintenance man had to come fix it. We were able to use the campground public showers but the fact that the deluxe cabin had its own toilet and shower was the main reason we booked it, and having it not work properly the first time we tried to use it was a tad upsetting.
