"Hotel is in a fantastic place but is a bit dated. Room was a bit stuffy when we went in but bathroom was lovely. Had to put the fan on and freshen the room up opened a window . Bed was very comfortable .and bar area and outside area had a stunning view."

"We stopped here for 4 nights. The bedrooms were clean and fairly comfortable. There isn't much near by. 1 shop and 1 cafe in walking distance. But plenty of places within driving distance. Ravenglass and muncaster castle about a 15 minuute ride. Haverthwaite and lakeside are about 50 minutes away ..."
