I’ve now stayed at this property twice both times we had issues, but this most recent trip was inexcusable. firstly due to a booking error on Expedia’s part (or so they say) we got a standard double room instead of a king suite, and when I asked about the possibility of a price difference, they said that all of their rooms were the same price which I have a hard time believing. Secondly, on our first night we noticed a room and I thought that that is where the ice was so I went to take a peek and there was nothing in that room except for a clear plastic cup, which was full of yellow liquid. It was a holiday weekend so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. When we left the next morning, we number one asked about the room situation and we were just waived off as the rooms are all the same price and given no real explanation as to why we were booked the wrong room as well as we mentioned the cup, which we thought had urine in it, but we’re not sure the front desk worker wrote it down and we were on our way when we came back that night over 12 hours later the cup was still in said room and there was a noticeable odor and it became darker in color. We then went to our room but something just did not sit right with me about that and it was so disgusting that I had to go down to the front desk after 9 PM and tell them AGAIN about the cup of urine, and now that there was an odor. That front desk worker was very kind and very apologetic and the next morning the cup was gone.

The stench in that room was of an uncleaned dog kennel full of wet dogs. We left the door open for a good hour to freshen it. The bed had clean sheets. It had a blanket that was 900 years old, looked like gramma had relegated it to a dog blanket and a lot of cigarette burns in it. The mattress was lumpy and horrible. Staff were all very nice. Bathroom floor sags and dips in places we thought we would go thru the floor. Toilet seat was soiled on both top and bottom but I had alcohol for cleaning it. Handicap shower would not have been usable by a wheelchair bound person. There is very little water pressure but plenty of hot water. When we arrived, there was 1 wash cloth, 1 towel and one floor mat. We had to wait until housekeeping arrived the next morning to get bath towels. By all websites, pets are allowed yet when we signed in they said they were under new management and cats were no longer allowed. Yet our reservation was nonrefundable. He did finally allow us to stay, after charging us $60 for 2 cats. The microwave and refrigerator were clean and usable. A recliner was a welcome addition but was filthy beyond belief. I truly cannot recommend staying here at this time but hopefully new management will clean things up. Some of the filth outside was definitely cleaned up during our stay. So I have to say we saw efforts being made but they have a long way to go.
