We stayed for 2 nights and no problem. My husband forgot his shoes in our room when we checked out. we called the hotel and they were able to find his shoes and put it up front for us to pick up.

We stayed two nights. The TV did not work the entire time. On the first day, two front desk desk staff came to our room and tried to get the TV to work but they could not solve the problem. They arranged for the “engineer” to come the next day and he came and tried and could not get it to work. He finally told us that he will try to replace the TV in our room and that he would call us. We waited an hour and finally decided that we are not going to spend our stay waiting for the TV to be fixed. So we left to do the things that we went to Minneapolis to do. When we got back to our room before 6 pm, we found a new TV and remote but they did not work. We called the front desk and the woman on duty suggested that we move to another room. We had a dinner reservation, we did not want to pack up and move as we were were checking out the next day and the front desk staff told us that since we do not want to change rooms, there is nothing else she can help us with and hung up on us! The breakfast was awful. We were packing up ready to check out and did not get down to breakfast till 9 am, one hour before breakfast ends. By then, all the hot food were gone and not replenished. There were lines for the waffles and hot pancakes. The yoghurt machine churns out the yoghurt so slowly and there was a line for yoghurt. All the toppings for the yoghurt were empty and not replenished. Luckily we ate breakfast out the first day and only had to suffer this breakfast once.

Home2 Suites was a great hotel located next to Mall of America. We could walk to Mall of America in less than 10 minutes. Our room was clean and well laid out. Breakfast was pretty good for a hotel. Only complaints was during check in, the staff was arguing about cost with a customer. Took like 30 to 40 minutes to check in. Plus, cost of room almost double from one weekend to the next. Wish we would have schedule our stay the weekend before.

This place was so nice! Full kitchen area and nice beds! We enjoyed our stay here and wish we were able to stay longer! We enjoyed the pool table and the huge sitting area downstairs. We even played a card game in the sitting area.
