“Couldn’t use the balcony we paid extra to reserve due to mayflies swarming it, the hotel doesn’t do anything about this; many other hotels in the area are same on this issue. Swimming pool was heavily over chlorinated, had to open windows because smell of chlorine was so bad several guests were getting watery eyes just sitting next to pool. The hot tub has really nice warm water but the jets are broken so that they turn on but bubble up the sides only where chunks of tile are missing. Restaurant……

“This little motel was THE PERFECT stay while I was in St. Ignace for 4 days. I love the vintage-feel of the motel and the newly-updated rooms! Bed was super comfortable and so was the recliner in the room. Room was super clean and had everything I needed. When I come back to St. Ignace, I will always stay at The Cedars!!!!!!! I recommend this super nice motel to everyone!!! 🌟🌟🌟”

“Check in on 6/15 for 3 nights. Went to the room , dropped off luggage, and toured downtown. Came back and checked the room. Disgusting, moldy bathroom ceiling and tiles, toilet cracked. Only 1 working light bulb in the bathroom ceiling, I went and got one from the front desk. No apology. Sink had no stopper. Coffee machine and fridge not working, plugged in the refer. First there was no coffee or cups left, got some from the housekeeper. After checking the coffee pot was moldy inside. Carpet……
