"This was our second stay at this property. Housekeeping was much improved from last time. We slept in a different room with larger bedside tables. We also brought our dog along this time and we pleased to see a dog bed and toys available. The awkward things were still awkward, but we knew what to expect and how to work around them. This is where we prefer to stay when visiting Bastrop."

House was stocked with everything you need…all cooking utensils, waffle maker, full size washer/dryer, large screen TVs in every room with Rokus, AC was pumping, and beds were comfortable. Oh can’t forget to mention the location and how close it was to the West Monroe Sports Facility and various places to eat! We would definitely stay here again!"

"Overall the cabin was clean. The road to get to the cabin was dirt, and therefore when it rained was only accessible by a truck. I would think that would be acknowledged on the description, due to the amount of rainfall in Louisiana. The cabin was lacking in several “luxury” things. Wi-Fi was not working, I had to go and purchase coffee mugs to enjoy a cup of coffee, and the bugs did not just stay outside (due to gaps under the doors and around the window A/C units).
