"This place exceeded my expectations. Amazing staff, clean and comfortable rooms, charming and thoughtful decor, and an amazing breakfast. The neighborhood is very charming with its back streets, alleys, and minutes from both Ben Yehuda and Mahne Yehuda Market. I’ve eaten pounds of shears and shakshuka. I will be back. Next year in Jerusalem! "

"I love staying at the David Story Hotel. It is perfectly located, very clean, and exceptonially friendly staff. It is a boutique hotel so I feel like I am 'at home' whenever I stay there. Any hotel near there is twice the price."

"Amazing staff with clean rooms. With issues in the region tourism is down but we didn’t experience any negative impact. Beautiful historic facilities and it’s always my favorite place to stay in Jerusalem!!!"
"Absolutely stunning hotel! Even more beautiful in person than in the photos. I loved the stone architecture and the Orthodox Christian icons displayed throughout the hallways—they added such a unique and peaceful touch. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the buffet breakfast and dinner were both delicious. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from Jaffa Gate, Mamilla shops, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the Old City. Unfortunately the war broke out while there but the staff were extremely helpful and provided is with meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I will definitely be back. "
"Our experience at The Sephardic House Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled just steps away from the Zion Gate in the Jewish Quarter, this beautifully restored building offers the rare opportunity to stay inside Jerusalem’s Old City while enjoying modern comforts and warm, attentive hospitality.
From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the elegance and charm of the historic architecture. The interior courtyard, with its stone arches and serene ambiance, evokes the rich cultural heritage of the Sephardic community while providing a peaceful retreat from the city’s energy. The rooms are tastefully decorated, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.
The location is truly unbeatable. Within minutes, we could walk to the Western Wall, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and countless other holy and historical sites. Being able to explore the Old City early in the morning and late in the evening, when it’s quieter and more atmospheric, was a unique privilege."
"To get a 2 bedroom suite at this price was a great, but then you factor in the amazing location, and this place is a gem! The suite had 2 bathrooms, which made our family of 4 very happy. The water was hot, and the rooms were clean, not spotless. When you factor in the low price, we were very happy with everything. When you're this close to the Jaffa Gate, the pedestrian-only shopping streets, and the Mamilla Mall, you never need transportation, but if you do, the train is a block away. One downside of the room is the windows don't let much light in, so it can feel a little cave-like. We did appreciate the second bedroom was a safe room, with a steel door and heavy locks. "
"Our stay at the Templer Inn was one of the highlights of our time in Jerusalem, and added immeasurable to the overall experience. The location in the German Colony is excellent. Our room was spacious with a separate living area and large bathroom. The best part was interacting with our hosts, the owners, Alon and his wife, Revaya, at the generous breakfast service. The Inn had been Alon's home growing up, and no wonder they take such loving care. He was helpful with my getting there after taking the wrong train. They live nearby, and Alon also provided great recommendations for restaurants within walking distance. He also helped with practical questions about Jerusalem. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Jerusalem."
