Although the setting was good, we found a few issues with the kitchen cleanliness-oven and stove very dirty, freezer was in desperate need of de-frosting, the grill was very dirty and some pots weren't clean. Initially, when I sent James pictures he said, and I quote, "that's not acceptable...will do what it takes to make it right". The trouble is, later on he indicated that it wouldn't have taken that much time to clean the kitchen, so apparently it wasn't a big enough issue to warrant "making it right". It surely take more than a few minutes to defrost a refrigerator! We are not so gullible that we believed James' ridiculous statement. PICTURES DO NOT LIE, and if something is unacceptable on one day, how come a couple of days later it isn't? He really back pedaled from his original stand, perhaps when he realized it would cost money to repair this mess.
The accomodations were adequate, the setting was pretty, but James' attitude left something to be desired. Of course, he will say he asked what we wanted from him, but when he was talking about how little time it would take to fix the messes, we knew he wasn't going to actually reimburse us adequately. We thought an honest review would be a much more appropriate way of handling this situation.
