My first impression of the hotel was not good. Right after I booked the hotel, I received a message from the hotel with multiple paragraphs listing all the rules of the property. They spent so much time describing fire codes and how if you get a king bed, there can only be 2 people in the room. If more people then you must get a bigger room (which is more expensive). There was only 2 of us so I wasn’t concerned but I did find it very off putting and almost cancelled my reservation. The hotel as a whole was a good hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Down side was our shower kept fluctuating between ice cold water to scalding hot water. We just tried to make the showering quick. The elevator inspection was expired 2 years ago and they claimed the inspector was behind, but they’re worried about fire codes and more than 2 people in a room? Double standard. For the most part we were comfortable, just didn’t care for the hotel’s priorities. I don’t believe we’ll stay here again.

The Colton Inn was a charming stay for my mom, daughter and me. We enjoyed the lovely deck, the comfy beds, and the variety of breakfast offerings. Hosts were kind and helpful, and parking couldn’t be easier. ☺️
