Amazing Stay, the room was very clean and tidy upon arrival, very quiet place, accessible to a lot of shops/dining. Few minutes away from Fishermans Wharf, Aquarium, etc. Definitely would stay here again. They have proprietary parking and bikes to rent. My whole stay with my s/o we parked our car and rented the bikes, it saved us on gas and saved us the hassle of trying to find parking wherever we went.

Monterey Bay was beautiful as expected - hotel was great. We did have to switch rooms due to some minor inconveniences so that was a negative. There was some construction and that’s what we woke up to so that was another big negative. Our first night happened to be in another room the kids liked the area so much we decided to stay again before it got late so this is why we gave it a 4.

The location is fantastic! A very short walk to shopping and restaurants. The architecture has so much character that the interior designer could have used to play up the Spanish style but chose a strange black geometric carpet and decor that made the room feel dreary. However, our suite was huge and we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely go back.

The hotel has a lot of charm. The room was clean a spacious. The door did have a gap which let in light from the outside. That was the only thing concerning. The carpet could use some steam cleaning. Bed was comfortable. Hotel was conveniently located to downtown, walking distance. Breakfast was good, however there was only one staff working which made if difficult to keep up with filling up the empty tray of food. Overall the hotel was nice and clean, we had a lovely stay, and will most likely return.

The junior suite was nice, a lot of room. Bed was firm, if you like that then great! It was an easy walk to the Fisherman’s Warf and downtown. Property feels like an old Spanish Casa with nicely decorated rooms. Not perfectly modern, so don’t expect that. Very comfortable and easy to settle in. Breakfast was hot and had many choices with seating. You need to be able to walk and maneuver stairs.

Beautiful property, friendly staff and very close to tourist attractions. The only negative would be parking. There is a parking garage onsite but the space is limited and some of the stalls are extremely tight. Otherwise it was the perfect place to spend a relaxing weekend, would definitely stay again.

Great location, good size for the price, and breakfast is included. Unfortunately the walls are paper thin and the floors very noisy, the bathroom (especially the shower) was dirty, and the parking garage is very small. We definitely expected the property to be in better condition given the location and price. Wasn’t terrible, but would probably not stay here again.

Loved the location of the hotel how clean and nice it looks. Convenient very close to shops, dinning and the trolley stop right in front. The only thing I would say I personally didn’t like was how hard the bed was, too hard for my taste.

easy walk to fisherman‘s pier. Close to complementary trolley staff to take us to the aquarium cannery row and the pier and downtown. An easy ride to Big Sur Carmel And 17 mile Drive. Only disadvantage was if you had a rental car and we’re going to take it in and out parking is difficult during the afternoons and nights.
