"We have stayed at several different lake front properties in Monticello, and this one, by far, is the best! So clean! So well appointed! So welcoming and comfortable! There were so many extras included, I honestly felt like I was staying at a family member's home for the weekend. Usually, rental properties have hand me down furniture, appliances, etc., which I understand and I am fine with, but this home had high end everything. The decor was so nice. You were allowed to use everything - outdoor fire table (smores fixings included), a BBQ grill that was so clean and worked perfectly (I'm used to opening it and being like, nope, not using that!), matching, beautiful outdoor furniture, beds that were so comfortable that my guests were taking pictures of the brands so they could get them for themselves! I was able to include our pups and the deck and outside area is set up perfectly for them. They are able to be a part of the family outside without being tied down on the huge deck. There was plenty of room to leash and walk them. I usually spend so much time tending to the dogs that I feel like it's not worth it, but it was like being at home here! The layout of the house was great, if you are an early to bed, early to rise person, you can sleep soundly as the bedrooms are upstairs and completely separate from the living areas. The bathrooms were beautiful, water pressure was great and, again, so many extras! The owners were so responsive too,And... the view! Amazing!!!"

"One doesn't go to Indiana Beach to stay in the hotel room. The most incredibly wonderful things about Alexander's is location. Steps away from the park. Walk and return to the hotel and use multiple entry park passes. Second is the amazing outdoor patio. I researched and know that over $20,000 was spent just in outdoor furniture overlooking Shafer Lake. Opportunities to cook out, corn hole, and water sports and an indoor pool. The room #7 had a full kitchen, very small bathroom, and two double beds. What an amazing stay except.... Mattresses need to be replaced. And the steps down to reach the room: Huge steps and no handrails. Yes, we are in our mid-80s. I know you are thinking we should stay home in our rocking chairs until we die. (We don't own rocking chairs). It was easier to use the hillside beside the steps. All in all. Please know we were extremely happy with our stay."

"We loved this house. The hosts were very helpful and quick to respond. The lake view was perfect, and we saw a bald eagle. The outdoor area was perfect for a cookout. We will definitely come back"

"Very comfortable and clean for our group of 10,nice views of the lake,Kroger just 5 minutes away, Tippacanoe Country Club just minutes away for a round of golf,could have used a couple of new skillets and a 9x13 casserole dish for cooking needs, the middle of the decks could use an upgrade,enjoyed our stay,thank you"

"Nice property overall. Lakefront. Not much parking without jostling vehicles around if you have more than 2. Good location for distance to our work location. Beds not very comfortable, but maybe we’re just picky. Great communication with host."
