“Absolutely amazing. Such a stunning place, with great food and wonderful service. Stayed one night in one of the beautiful cottages. Had the best dessert I’ve ever had in their fine dining restaurant, and one of the best omelettes during breakfast. Will be back, and stay longer next time. ”

“Not luxurious but full value for money. Single room had a decent bit of space. It was clean and had all I needed for an overnight stay. Nice hot shower and grand view of the Eildons. Reception staff were friendly and explained the process for late night hotel access very clearly. Would definitely use again.”

“Situated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. ”

“The hotel has a large car park. The rooms were clean and warm. The hotel was taylored more for eating. The meals were excellent and the bar closed early after meals were finished. There were no casual bar customers. Pleanty of bars close by. The area was very safe and comfortable to walk around at any time..Nice friendly staff.”
