One of the best beach vacations we've had! Awesome view! Very nice accomodations; walkable to restaurants and pier; the beach is right in front of you! The views from the balconies are beautiful! Very peaceful and relaxing area, not crowed, but still lots of things for the kids to do. We will definitely come back and recommend to family and friends!

Beautiful beach, convenient dog walking areas

Check in was easy. Beach and water absolutely beautiful. Kitchen has everything you need. Love that detergent and paper towels and toilet paper was provided. Suggest pictures of laundry and garage. I was not anticipating laundry to be on the ground level.

Great location, great view, great place!

We really enjoyed our stay!! The place was clean, well stocked and clean place. Really an enjoyable stay! The walk to the beach, pier and the near by restaurant was very very amazing.

Great place to stay!

Well Received R&R

Whithaven 2 was well-stocked and had everything we needed to enjoy our time just steps from the beach. We found the rental description spot on and the owner was readily accessible. The property highlights included the view and the easy access to the beach. Two of the guests were elderly and not able to walk through the sand but thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the decks to soak up the sun and sounds while reminiscing! We highly recommend this property and look forward to staying here whenever we are in the area!

Perfect beach spot

This property was incredible. Super clean, modern upgrades inside, and most importantly, spectacular views with direct access to the beach. Could not have asked for a better location. Hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating. Huge shared deck on the lower level and great private deck on the upper floor master bedroom. Extremely dog friendly property. We will be staying here again and again.

Steps away from the beach!

The location of the house is perfect as it is steps away from the beach. The house was very clean with fresh smelling linens and towels. The kitchen is well equipped so you can prepare almost any meal; an outdoor grill is readily available. The outdoor shower made it possible to not track sand all through the house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at White Haven.

Sun, surf and seafood!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our week here! The location is great!! Walk to restaurants, bike to Ft Macon, or just wander out the deck door to the ocean. The well-appointed kitchen and family friendly seating made mealtimes easy and a great space for connecting after our sunny days outside. The spacious deck was also a family favorite. The house was clean with great light and plenty of space. The managers/owners were super friendly and easy to connect with. Highly recommend this place for family vacations!!

Well worth the price

We had a great stay for a week in mid July. The location is excellent and the property is very much as described by the owners. They are great with communication and the information they provide you. They've also made a conscious effort to have many supplies on hand for you to enjoy during your stay (beach chairs, tents, sand toys, etc) so you don't have to travel with these bulky items. Overall, we felt the property offered a lot for the price. We would definitely stay there again.

Great Location and View!

Great location, direct oceanfront, near Oceanana Pier. Older home but well maintained! Floor plan was good... living room and kitchen with half bath located above garage area, and 3 br on top floor with 2 baths. Living room and master bedroom view is amazing! Multi-level deck is a great place for everyone to hang out, especially since we had friends staying at other locations, and this became the gathering spot for everyone! Definitely recommend!

Family reunion

After a few years of separation due to COVID, it was a great place to be together again as a family. The house is wonderfully located looking over the ocean. There is ample room to be together or find a nook for some time for yourself. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a terrific grill outside for summer cooking. The large deck outside let us gather together both day and night. We will return.

Beautiful Location

The location is great. It is an older house and was what I would call surface clean. There were food crumbs in the kitchen drawers and the cabinets are older with some dishes and spaces that hadn’t been used in a while. My big issue is that the upstairs bathroom is not really user friendly at all. It is very small, the shower curtain had mildew, the faucets all had rust and mildew in them or on them, and the left side sink had no hot water at all. That being said, for a unit that allows pets, it smelled great, the sheets were clean, and it wasn’t “pet dirty”. The furniture is older and the white wicker furniture in the upstairs room especially the nightstand needs some spills cleaned off/out of it. But there was obviously a great effort to keep the floors clean and sand free though. Nice new, large washer and dryers in the garage. We enjoyed our stay and overall, except for that upstairs bathroom, it is a nice place.

Perfect location and has everything!

I stayed here with my 2 college aged 'kids'. The kitchen is fully stocked, we used the grill one night and walked to dinner the other 2 nights :) The view from the bedroom was a perfect treat! We loved using the outdoor shower every day and the hose to get all the sand off. We had enough room to play games at night, hang out on the deck during the day and space to be apart. Really, it's a great VRBO! (Oh, and the 2 bigger beds are super comfortable!) The only things you need to bring are beach towels (lots of chairs and toys in the garage), beach shade thing (didn't see one, but it might have been there), beach towels, and shoes for the beach (sand gets hot in the afternoons!).

Wonderful beach trip December 2024

The duplex is an excellent choice for relaxing at Atlantic Beach, NC. The space is very clean with comfortable furniture especially the king bed in the master bedroom. Great views of the ocean from the living room and master bedroom and a pet friendly environment. Our dogs enjoyed our week here too! The kitchen has everything you need for a great stay so well furnished if you want to cook.The owner is a terrific communicator. We had two questions during our stay and Lee answer quickly in a very helpful way. The location is perfect with plenty of restaurants nearby or a short drive away in Morehead City. A five star experience and we plan to return on 2025!

Great Location and Clean Accommodations

The house is ideally located as it overlooks the dunes, the beach, and the ocean. The generous deck lets you enjoy your morning coffee while relaxing to the sound of the waves. Deck is equipped with comfortable chairs, a grill, and a shower to rinse of at the end of your day on the beach. The kitchen has enough dishware to feed about 10 people. There are modern appliances in the kitchen. The house is clean upon arrival and has the means to keep it up while you are there.
