"Lovely quiet setting and fabulous open-plan living room. The property was spotless and the break was easy to organise with our host. We walked up to the local pub and had a great evening chatting with the locals and a very tasty meal - strongly recommended. Parking was straightforward and bathrooms worked well. Unfortunately we stayed on one of the hottest nights of the year so, whilst there were fans in all the bedrooms, it was really hot and none of us slept well. Some lovely touches in the house including cakes and prosecco. The kitchen was well-stocked and Tesco was a short, convenient drive away."

"Staff were amazing, shout out to Rob in the bar, willing to go out of his way to provide excellent customer service. Friendly, knowledgeable and adaptable, creating a mocktail which was delicious and exactly what I had wanted. Unfortunately, these days, if something is not a quick fix then customer service often goes out of the window… not here! All staff were attentive and happy to acknowledge requests when necessary. Breakfast service was wonderful, great selection which was replenished regularly, prompt, polite service throughout. I do have one concern from a food hygiene perspective, flies were everywhere, buffet food (in my opinion) should be creatively covered. The room was lovely, bed was comfy, hairdryer and steamer were a great addition, as was the slippers and dressing gowns. Each room has a quality coffee machine and kettle with a well-stocked mini bar (extra charges for mini bar products) There are also some additional touches that make the stay extra special, radio and electric diffuser, nice selection of magazines, quality bathroom products and on arrival, delicious, home baked biccies from the kitchen. The peaceful grounds, secluded reading rooms and restaurant all create a relaxing ambience and the scenic views from the outdoor patios are a welcome sight to enjoy at all times of the day. Joyful! We will return!"

"Good central location in Cotswolds and nicely in centre of town. Good dining and nice patio. Small number of parking spaces behind. Bedroom was very hot, on top floor ,windows only opened a little. Luckily reception provided fan. Sink hot tap only dribbles out but only needed cold tap in these conditions"
