“My family really like this hotel.”

“This is a beautiful old home converted into a bed & breakfast /hotel. DJ and Amy are friendly and homey (the owners). I had to be at work early and breakfast wasn’t served until 8:00 so that didn’t work. The TV in my room had very weak signal, eventually I gave up on it. But a lovely environment and beautiful scenery!”

“One of my favorite places to stay when hiking in the ADKs. Clean, well stocked, well priced, comfortable. It feels like home!”

“The property was nicely decorated and very clean. Also nicely located on the water. The owners communicated well and seemed friendly in their messages. Two things would make the property better - bug screens on more windows so they can be left open and light blocking blinds in one of the bedrooms. Main issue is the unfortunate fact the train track is close and I woke up twice from trains passing in the middle of the night.”

“Cottage was perfect with a lake cove view. Adirondack chairs everywhere so you can watch the sunsets over the mountains to west. Gardens were beautiful! Make sure you hike the trails along the lake.”

“Our stay at Herons watch was wonderful. The house was clean and stocked with everything we could ever want and need. We brought our boat and launched it at the bridge which was easy and the ride on the lake back to the house was smooth and easy. The views are awesome. We enjoyed family meals and sitting on the porch , had a camp fire, played games, fished and relaxed. I highly recommend this home for a quality vacation thank you”

“We arrived about 8:30pm and appreciated the open door and easy check-in. The room and beds were very comfortable. The shower was great too! Being at the end of the hall was nice - more private. Breakfast was amazing. We loved the fresh fruit, homemade blueberry muffins, and fresh bread and oatmeal with toppings. Scrambled eggs and toast too. Very comfy stay. We'll be back! Close to The Adirondacks hikes we'd planned.”
