The location is nice, but the way our checkout was handled was unacceptable. Checkout was at 11:00 AM. At about 11:15 we were actively carrying our luggage to the car. We took the first group of bags outside and, while we were doing that, housekeeping and maintenance entered our room even though many of our personal belongings were still inside. I understand that we were 15 minutes past checkout, and the hotel had every right to tell us to finish leaving. That is not the issue. The issue is entering a room containing guests’ belongings while they are obviously still in the process of moving out. When we complained to the front desk, there was no apology, no attempt to investigate, and no concern at all. We were essentially told, “Your time is up. Leave.” Very disappointing customer service. Being 15 minutes late does not justify treating guests and their property with this level of disregard. I would not stay here again.

We loved being on the beach, so beautiful. My only complaint was that the air conditioner was a window unit hanging out on the balcony. It was very noisy and had hot air blowing. Side note: our room was very nice and cool :) The free breakfast was terrific. The Sunrise Cafe lady kept it well stocked and clean. We enjoyed our stay.
