Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because we were unable to check in until 4pm for our overnight stay and we had to check out by 10am the next morning. Paying $370 for one night and not being able to even stay for a 24 hr period in our room is quite unfair. Otherwise the staff and dinner were ...

We are a family of 3 with a preschooler. We had so much fun playing on the snow just outside the hotel. The village is just few minutes walk while the scenery is very nice. The staff are very nice and accommodating. We would have love to go to the pool but it’s only available for adults.

If you make it to Mount Buller this season make sure you hike up to the Summit. I'm only an intermediate skier so I left my skies down the bottom and walked the final 100m from the Summit chair lift. You can ski blue and green runs all the way down from there. It's a lovely view, especially at sunset. :)

Fantastic, free camping... pretty little spot by the river. This is up in the high country of Victoria. Near Craig's Hut where the movie 'Man from Snowy River ' was filmed. Camping area is called Bindaree Flats, an old cattlemen's hut is opposite us...2 wheel drive access to this point on a rough road though...but ok to drive on. Grab a map and go!
