“My room was excellent, and the staff was always helpful. The lounge/breakfast area was clean and well-stocked. The exterior of the building was well-maintained and inviting. The only thing I'd like addressed is the laundry area for guests. I have been staying at this hotel for the last four years, and the coin-op laundry has always been out of order. I normally stay for 4-5 days, and it would be very helpful to use the coin-up before my last night. Outside of that matter, the staff has always……

“Staff was great ”

“The hotel is generally run down and dirty. Mildew in the bathroom, stains on the bedding, sludge on the top frame of the bed, cigarette butts everywhere outside, overflowing garbage. We asked upon arrival what time the pool would open the following morning and they said 8:00am. My family was waiting at the door and at 8:10am the maintenance man said he just put the chemicals in and we had to wait an hour. Unfortunately, we were just passing through and planned our travel day around this and……

“Needs some work. Wall paper in the breakfast room and in our room 411 needs repair/replacing.”

“My sister and I are already planning on return visit to this property. It was a delightful unique experience staying in a home that was like going back in time. We both loved the home as well as the landscape it was quiet and beautiful. We are going to plan a longer trip so that we can enjoy the property and do things we didn't have a chance to this time like a outdoor fire as well as long walks.”

“Room was clean as were the towels. We just felt this Hampton Inn needs a ‘refresh’ as paint was peeling off in the bathroom as well as the wall paper bubbling (room 417). Dings in the door…we believe it is an older Hampton…needs a refresh for sure. Breakfast was very good as the touch of ‘gift bag’with 2 bottles of water and in the morning complimentary cookies! Staff was friendly and helpful ( put our cooler freezer packs into a freezer ready for us in the morning for our next leg of our trip!)”
