It's exciting to have lived in this city for twenty years and still encounter under the radar fantastic finds!

Inside a Thai grocer, in a small strip mall, is a nondescript white door with an adhesive sign above that reads 'entrance'.

On the other side of that door is Bangkok Restaurant a super cute and inviting dining space with an abundance of friendly staff members.

The menu is spiral bound with page after page of potential culinary delights.

For this first trip, I went with a Thai iced tea and Pad Kee Mao, wide noodles with egg, hot chili, fresh basil, green onions, tomato, shrimp, and chicken.

I'm by no means a Thai food connoisseur, but this dish was incredibly flavorful and very well composed. The Thai iced tea was refreshing with milk and maybe cinnamon?

All of the food coming out of the kitchen was beautifully plated and made want to return again and again to check off more of their menu selections.

"This hotel was in a good location for the visits I did on the Columbus west side. I wouldn't describe it as exceptional but it was adequate. The free breakfast was entirely forgettable and the last day I ate breakfast at a nearby restaurant. There were restaurants within walking distance of the hotel which was a benefit. I enjoyed dinner at a Roosters that was walking distance from the hotel."

"My stay at this Ted Roof Plus was okay. I looked all over for facial tissues in the bathroom and finally found them on the desk in the main room along with water cups and an icebucket. No mini coffee pot in the room but there was voffee in the lobby. The room was okay, too. Imagine finding a 15" x 48" rug in the main room as the only comfort in the room. "Well appointed spacious room. Shower and toilet are separate. Clean and smelled nice. Check in staff was very polite and welcoming. The parking was almost full when we arrived around 9:45 pm but there were a few spots still available. We were a bit confused with how lights and light switches worked, couldn’t turn on the floor lamp, but decided not to complain because we only stayed one night. Overall quite happy with our stay. Will definitely stay again."

Great but needs heavier blankets

"Everything was great except ... they could use heavier blankets on the bed instead of the light weight white ones. I asked for an extra blanket and it still wasn't enough. Comforters should be offered in the colder months or when it's cold outside in spring & fall."

"We were there for a volleyball tournament and everything was perfect the staff was super nice and helpful I do wish they offered a breakfast that’s included with the stay but honestly for the level of comfort and service all the staff offers is above and beyond. I definitely would recommend. "
