“This property was within biking distance of the Grand Haven State Park Beach which was the main benefit! The decor was very cute. The house was clean. There is a full bath plus an extra toilet in the basement which came in handy. The bedroom is upstairs and the room is slanted ceilings. So if you are tall this is not convenient. “Cabin was run down, dry wall mud and holes covered, not sanded and repainted. Doors were filthy, walls were dirty and marked up everywhere. Pieces of the doors were missing. No smoke detectors. Shower drain plugged. The entire place needs A LOT of TLC. No A/C. Did not catch any fish in the "stocked" lake. Definitely not worth what we paid for 3 nights. Super disappointed. Would not go back. “The cottage was in a great location with beautiful views of the lake! It recently had new flooring in each room which was nice too. This cottage has been frozen in time but yet is fully functional and wasn’t missing anything we needed which made for a great place for our multi-generational group.
