This was a wonderful place, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and will MOST DEFINITELY stay again in the future. Rooms were clean, the location was perfect, it was far away from the rampant crime and "riff raff" of the strip, and provided everything you need to have a good time right there. Live music at the bar outside by the pool til 9pm and later on weekends, then the bar inside (the only hotel bar in Myrtle-Beach to stay open til 2am) opens and seemed to be pretty happening place. It didn't effect the peacefulness in my room, but as I was oceanfront and right over the pool, the music at the outdoor venue did drown out the TV volume a bit, but was easily remedied by turning the volume up on the 50" Samsung smart TV hanging on the wall. The only problem I ran into was from trying to extend my stay another night, if I would be able to stay in the same room, when asked I was told yes no problem, then 2 hours later when I called to pay the bill I was told it wasn't available, that the owner of the unit had called and made a reservation. I did not see the point in packing and unpacking again for 1 night so I did not stay the extra night. Also, it should be mentioned that the rooms are not all created equal, due to the units be privately owned. I was fortunate to get a beautifully decorated and updated unit, but my friends were not, and I paid $100 less than they did through Expedia rather than at the hotel directly. Overall it was still a nice place, decor was just dated.
