Room was clean and spacious. Not sure if the heat worked, but there was quite a gap around the seal of the door. Staff were pleasant and it was good for an overnight stop before jumping on the ferry back to the mainland. Good location being very close to the ferry terminal.

The place was just great bed was comfortable nice clean sheets had a nice kitchen sofa. It was just great. I definitely stay there again. The bathroom amenities was surprisingly wonderful.

We stayed here for one night. The place was clean and had a full kitchen. Our car and the one next to ours were broken into and the windows were smashed out. That's not really their fault but keep in mind that's the area you'll be staying in

The Sea View Cottage was perfect. Suhail was a terrific help and his customer service skills were outstanding. I highly recommend the Buccaneer Inn. It is 3 mins from the ferry terminal and a 5 minute walk to a great pub/restaurant on the water. The beds were excellent, the living room was extremely comfortable and the house itself was quite large! Thank you!!

I thought I had booked a 2 bedroom hotel suite, and was surprised to find that we had an entire 3 bedroom house! Check-in was fast and friendly. The house was very roomy with a full kitchen, laundry, 3 good size bedrooms (1 king and 2 queen), 2 full bathrooms, comfy living room with fireplace and dining. It looked recently renovated and very clean. Beds were comfortable and the sheets were very soft. The only CONS were the towels could be replaced and the main bedroom was quite loud in the morning with traffic, as it faced onto Hwy 1 - and there were only 2 coffee pods, which was puzzling since the placed slept 6 people. Overall, a WONDERFUL stay!

Rooms are large. The two Queen Bed with kitchenette had the two beds at the back in a bedroom. Very comfortable beds with comfy cozy bedding. Clean stocked bathroom. Living room/ dining area. Kitchenette was convenient however utensils, pots, etc could use a refresh. One burner didn't work. Freezer compartment on fridge iced up. Although across from water not particularly scenic / limited walking path. Convenient location for getting on highway and going towards downtown Nanaimo or to scenic routes north.

Loved our two night stay at this hotel! Friendly, helpful staff and an exceptionally clean room. Across from the motel is a boardwalk along the ocean channel. We strolled and enjoyed the boats and watched the seals. Will definitely stay again!
