“Unfortunately they have let this motel go downhill. The rooms are dirty and dingy. You can’t modernize by adding a mini fridge to the room. This place needs an update. It is right on the street so there is street noise (probably only important on busy summer weekends). They put out a few hard bagels and mini muffins with coffee in the morning but Inwould suggest going to Wild Blueberry cafe for breakfast. Some staff were fine, other staff not so much. “We were pleasantly surprised with how well we liked our stay. It was a stopover for the night before we went to Mackinac Island. “The bathroom had mold on the floor in the corners by the tub. The faucets didn’t work properly on bathroom sink. The pool and hot tub pictures on the website are a lie. Both are in disrepair and looked like they hadn’t been used in YEARS! The curtains were very old, dirty, and didn’t completely cover the windows. Unclear on pet policies. It was an entirely disappointing “surprise.” Definitely not going back.”
